Extremely vivid and deep food for thought.

I am really learning quite a bit about this (I did actually have a little bout of depression when I was younger, but not nearly to this level).

Several of my friends suffer from it. I don't think any of them have really described it as artfully as you did however. I really think you ought to make sure this gets saved for a book - it's an excellent description. Even though I am not depressed currently, I feel that I can empathize very well given your word pictures.
