EDITED on Jan 19, 2011: Amee has tentatively agreed to come back on board for Blue Crash Kit art duties, so barring unforeseen circumstances, we'll be posting new strips at some point. I have a lot on my plate right now, so it'll be a few weeks or so before she and I can really get into it deeply. Even then, considering all the false starts we've had, I intend to wait until we have a fairly large buffer of comics done before posting any of them.

For a while, every time I looked at this site I got discouraged because there was so much to do before I felt ready to post on it again. That, my friends, was an unacceptable situation. The changes have begun, but I've got a lot on my plate right now, so they're coming slowly.

To start with, BCK is now in its own sub-directory. And speaking of BCK...
Guys, I'm sorry to say that the comic is dead for now unless Shannon, Amee, or someone with whom I have a similar chemistry decide to take on art duties again. I'm just not up to drawing it myself. I feel bad about that, but there it is. I've still got one more one-off comic to post--meaning not actually related to the current storyline--drawn by Kevin. But I have to find the file before I can post it. Kevin also wrote the initial dialogue for it, which I then added to and changed a bit to because I'm a control freak like that.

The good news for BCK fans is that I'm considering posting a synopsis of the rest of the storyline. I haven't decided yet. If I do so, it will be prominently marked with a spoiler notice.

I've been busy, though. Among other things, I've been helping out with the About SF web site (http://www.aboutsf.com), a joint project of the University of Kansas, the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, and the Science Fiction Research Association, with generous support from Tor Books, The Heinlein Prize Trust, and several individual donors.

The current AboutSF site was an emergency rush job--and it suffered for that--But the AboutSF director and I will be be taking our time and working to make it much mo' better than it is right now. In fact, that's much of what inspired me to get back to work on this site.
